      Mission
  — Numismatics and the economy in the ancient world —

The project is aimed at analysing the various monetary phenomena during Antiquity and the High Middle Ages by studying numismatics as primary evidence of the economic activities carried out in each historical period in the Iberian Peninsula, focusing especially on the pre-Roman, Roman and Late Antiquity towns in the Douro valley as well as the military camps.
